Allow us to introduce ourselves.
We are Kirsty & Kylie.
Mum’s to three children each, wives to husbands in their own businesses and friends.
We share a love for our family, friends, the country life, laughter, cuppas, fresh scones, cowhide, shopping and too many nibbles platters.
We both grew up in very close, loving and supportive families with a very special relationship with our Nan/Nana. Sadly both have now passed on, but they were an important part of our lives & we know they would be proud of what we have accomplished so far.
We met only a little over three years ago, when Kylie and her family moved to the Bega Valley from Kununurra WA. Our kids ended up at the same school, with two out of the three in the same classes. We instantly clicked and it did not take long for a beautiful friendship to form.
It has been a dream for the both of us to ‘one day’ open a shop of our own.
One conversation led to the next and before we knew it, Wattle & Hide Homewares became a reality.
Our shop is made up with all the things we love and that reflects our everyday lifestyles.
We are passionate about selling as much Australian and locally made products that we can. We have thoroughly enjoyed the process of finding our wonderful stockists and loved getting to know their stories and discovering how they came to be doing what they do and love.
